Welcome to Melcosh Cafe & Coffee - Roastery, a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque Kaliurang region of Yogyakarta. This charming coffee shop not only serves a delightful array of freshly roasted coffee but also provides an inviting atmosphere that captivates both locals and tourists alike.

As you approach Melcosh, the cool and refreshing air greets you, setting the tone for what promises to be a rejuvenating experience. The cafe boasts a spacious outdoor seating arrangement that allows you to soak in the beauty of nature — the greenery surrounding this spot is as enticing as the menu itself.

Melcosh Cafe takes pride in offering a broad selection of coffee, epitomized by its unique coffee nusantara to exclusive coffee extracts. As Maria DC notes, the presence of a coffee grinder at the bar speaks to their commitment to coffee authenticity. Even if you're not yet familiar with their extensive offerings, rest assured that there will be something to suit your taste. Beyond coffee, the menu features an enticing variety of appetizers, pastas, salads, soups, main courses, pizzas, and plenty of delightful snacks, as well as hot and cold beverages and ice cream — a perfect way to end your meal.

Many customers, including Marini Ayu Gifari, rave about the cozy, open space offering a serene retreat from the bustling city. Visitors can taste not only the diverse flavors but also enjoy the ambiance set by cool climate and relaxing jazz tunes, as highlighted by Vincent Meyer, who suggests their pizzas are among the best you can find north of Yogyakarta, cooked in a real pizza oven!

The overall experience here, as reflected in several reviews, also speaks volumes about the friendly and attentive staff. Ignatius Handoko appreciated the ample parking space and easy-to-find location, despite mentioning that the food is "soso" — a sentiment that echoes the idea that while the offerings are good, there's room for improvement, especially on taste. However, with such a delightful setting and reasonable prices, many agree it's worth revisiting to check out what else might surprise you.

In summary, Melcosh Cafe & Coffee - Roastery is more than just a pit stop; it is an experience crafted for coffee lovers and food enthusiasts. The combination of a serene atmosphere, genuine hospitality, and a varied menu makes it a must-visit destination in Sleman. Whether you're looking to explore local coffee varieties or indulge in a delicious meal in a relaxed setting, Melcosh has you covered!

this place has enough coffee choices, start from coffee nusantara to coffee extract. i'm not sure how the coffee tastes, but there's coffee grinder on the bar. the menu provides appetizers, pasta, salads, soup, main course, sandwiches, snacks, hot&cold beverages, also ice cream. the air and atmosphere so fresh that visitors feel comfortable. they also have reasonable price with friendly waiter. if you have kids, there's also a herd of deer in a cage in the park below the restaurant that you can see. good place to chill and relax

Why is this cafe so underrated? The atmosphere is relaxing with an open-space concept, quiet, nice, refreshing and it's far away from city. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, including appetizers, pasta, salads, soup, main courses, pizzas, nasi goreng, mie goreng, snacks, beverages, many coffee varieties and even ice cream. I ordered several foods, including nuggets and french fries, cireng, tempe mendoan, pisang goreng, singkong goreng, and their signature pizza, the Melcosh Speciale. The tempe mendoan is quite tasty, even though it looks more like "tempe goreng tepung" than traditional mendoan. The pisang goreng has a funny and weird appearance for me, although it tastes good i wonder who came up with the idea to shape pisang goreng like that. The nuggets and french fries are just average, the singkong goreng is delicious, soft and crispy they said it made from "singkong kuning" variety. The cireng is tasty, crispy, and goes well with the sambal kecap. Personally, I would recommend the pizzas; you can get a larger pizza (8 slices) for just 78k, and they serve wood-fired Naples-style pizza. The best part is that the prices are quite affordable. For the place, perhaps some areas need cleaning, including the bathroom sink and the prayer room downstairs; there's quite a bit of dust and it's a little dirty. A suggestion for the management could boost the promotion, like inviting food vloggers, promoting on TikTok, or organizing events like live music or concerts. Overall, from the location, food taste, service, and atmosphere it's best. Good job Melcosh! (-) The matcha milkshake isn't very sweet and strong in matcha flavor.

Best pizzas North of Yogyakarta, cooked in a real pizza oven! Best ambiance music as well, jazz, old blues, not the usual boring Indopop. As I'm living just around, it's a pleasure for me to have this new restaurant available nearby my home, restaurant that I can only recommend to others.
